Flow rate reduced at fixture clogged or damaged aerator or valve, hints from a home inspector
Flow rate reduced at fixture (possible clogged or damaged aerator or valve)
Pressures will vary greatly during a 24 hour period. Between 60 and 75 PSI is ideal. The pressure shown is high. This item will be entered by the inspector if the flow rate at the fixture is reduced to the extent that the use of the fixture would be considered bothersome by most. Reduced flow at fixtures can usually be traced to clogged aerators or screens and to clogged or damaged supply valves. . Prepare for that possibility. Clean the screens, heads and aerators as needed. Contact a plumbing contractor for additional information and assistance if necessary.
