Electrical
Safety
Water Hazards
Just about all of us know water and electric are a deadly
combination. Do not mix the two. Use of electrical appliances
while you are they are wet is just asking for trouble.
If you drop an appliance into water do NOT retrieve it. Just leave
it alone, unplug it and THEN remove it. Toss the appliance out do
not ever use it again. It is simply not worth the risk.
Install GFCI protected electric receptacles in all kitchens, bathrooms,
garages and all wet locations in order to avoid electric shock.
They cost $10 or so each plus another $30 or so for installation.
It is cheap protection that may save a life one day!
