Unvented fuel burning appliance home inspections
Unvented fuel burning appliance installed: Other than cook-stoves unvented appliances are not allowed. Exhaust gasses released into the building can be extremely dangerous. With the exception of an approved unvented fireplace, either remove the device or have it vented. Unvented fireplaces require special considerations to operate safely. Contact a heating contractor for assistance.
