Y
yard:
a unit of measure equal to three feet ; the
site and landscape may be considered the yard
Y-branch: a plumbing fitting having three outlets in a
"Y" shape with one outlet set at a 45 degree angle to the other
two; sometimes spelled wye branch
Z
Z-bar: a small sheet metal flashing having a cross
sectional shape of the letter "Z."
zero-clearance fireplace:
a prefabricated fireplace designed to
be placed against combustible products such as the
framing of a building
