AMISS: This item is checked when it is noted
that the shower door or enclosure is heavily
corroded, broken, or has parts missing. It is
important that water not splash from the tub or
shower area. Damaged enclosures often allow
water to run down walls into wall cavities and
subfloors causing wood rot and other structural
damages. Heavily corroded or damaged enclosures
should be replaced. Shower door enclosures
usually cost more than tub enclosures because
they are often custom sized. Standard tub
enclosures are all one size and are readily
available at Building Supply Outlets. Contact a
