parget:
a modified mortar coating usually applied to
the interior of older chimneys to aid in protecting the brick or block
patent
defect: a defect plainly visible or as would be
discovered by the exercise of ordinary care
partition:
something that divides such as a wall; a
nonbearing wall; carries only the weight of the partition wall itself.

valve: a valve that once it reaches a preset
temperature or pressure, opens up to allow pressure or temperature to be
alleviated (relieved)

- a type of plastic pipe
possible:
may be, could be, might or may
potential:
could come into being, possible or latent
polarity:
opposite poles; in electrical terms, the pole
or side of a terminal
pier:
a vertical support member, usually of
concrete or block which supports a post
pilaster:
a supporting pier or column which partly
protrudes from a wall, or may be attached to a wall only as a decoration
pillar:
a vertical support member, usually a main
support not attached at its sides
pipe:
a tube of plastic, wood, or metal, used to
convey liquids or gas
plywood:
a wood sheet made of layers (plies) of thin
sheets, glued to a center sheet of thicker wood, the grain running at right
angles
porch:
an extension from a structure, usually
serving as part of the entrance, whether front , rear or sides--may be large enough
for relaxation and most often has its own roof, rather than a part of the
structure (the porch is the part walked on while the porch roof is the overhead
cover)
portico:
a colonnade at the front of a building
potable:
drinkable; for human consumption
prefabricated
house: a house constructed of manufactured
components, assembled partly at the site, rather than totally on
the site--also called a modular house
pressure relief
valve: a valve that once it reaches a preset
pressure or temperature point opens up to relieve the
action
problem:
a lack of something which renders a component
non-adequate or which will lead to the component's becoming non-adequate
proximate:
fairly accurate; near or close to
proximity:
nearness, within reasonable distance too
