Too cold to test ac system
Too cold to test ac system The cooling portion of the air conditioning system was not tested. Operation of the compressor, when outside air temperatures are below 60 degrees, can damage the unit. The inspector, except under special circumstances, will not operate ac equipment when the outside air temperature is below 60 degrees. The system installation and other components are reviewed if possible. It is recommended that you call for reinspection by this company when the temperature is expected to be above 60 degrees. A reinspection fee may be charged. You may simply wish to have the unit demonstrated (if the temperature has been above 60 degrees for a few hours) during your final walk-through prior to taking possession of the property.
