eaves: generally the part of a roof that extends beyond the exterior walls or the last point of support 

effect: something that has been produced or caused 

effective: to produce a desired effect; most over means "desired solution that will cause satisfactory results" 

efficient: producing the desired result with minimum of effort, expense, or waste 

efflorescence: a whitish powdery material resulting from moisture migrating through cement based materials or stone 

enclosure: any material attached to the sides of a tub or shower other than the built in walls 

engineer: one who is trained or professionally engaged in a branch of engineering 

epoxy: resin used in strong, resistant glues & enamels; admixtures for concrete products 

erosion: the act of wearing away of rock, earth or land over a prolonged period of time whether by wind, rain, vehicle or animal 

erratic: lacking consistency or regular course 

escarpment: a cliff 

especially: special, particularly

evidence: that which tends to prove or disprove something; an indication or sign 

exfoliated: having been disintegrated by freeze expansion 

exfoliation: the act of disintegration by freeze expansion 

expansible house: specifically designed for additions or expansion 

expansion: enlargement, to extend, a distance from one end or side to the other 

expansion joint: a connection of two members which allows for movement of the members when affected by pressure toward or away from the connecting joint--allows for expansion and contraction; usually found in concrete work, stucco, etc.  

expansive: most over a description of an extension, to expand; wide, large 

expect: to look for or prepare for a possible future occurrence 

exterior: the outside surface of anything; most over that which is exposed to the elements 

exterior wall: the outer vertical surface of a structure which encloses the entire structure
