If you wish to improve the quality of the air you breath in the home
try bringing in some fresh air. A heating or cooling tech should
be able to add a fresh air intake to your existing equipment easily or
you can leave the window nearest the return grill open a little when the
weather permits.
Pick high quality natural fiber carpeting and allow all the toxic vapors
to despite off of your dry cleaning before brining it into the
home.
Air out the home after painting or when new furniture is
installed. Diluting these fumes with fresh air is a great idea.
