FUNGUS, MOLD OR MILDEW
FUNGUS,
MOLD OR MILDEW SUSPECTED: The inspector
suspects the presence of one or more types of
fungi. This should be investigated by
specialists. Fungus growth should be kept at a
minimum since some individuals are highly
allergic to fungus spores. Products are
available which will remove most fungi and are
available at Home Improvement Stores. After
removing all fungi seal and/or caulk the area to
help reduce recurrence. Be aware that although
the inspector may address a specific area of
growth there may be much more fungi present
which are not readily visible. Clean and
disinfect all suspected areas.
