Evaporative cooler overflowing, evaporative cooler leaking, evaporative cooler problems
Evaporative cooler overflowing, evaporative cooler leaking, evaporative cooler problems If you can climb on a roof, you should be able to replace cooler pads but use great care that you do not fall from the roof. Some coolers are mounted in windows, some vent through walls. These may require working from a ladder to replace the pads. All cooler pads are held in place by a wire grid that must be carefully removed to allow the pads to be replaced. Cooler pads should be changed every season but may last two or three seasons. Consider using the paper type instead of the straw type for reduced maintenance and more effective cooling. Both are available at building supply dealers. Contact a cooler service or a handyman service for assistance if
