Electrical Safety

Electrical safety is no accident.  Make sure you use common sense when working with electrical appliances.  Many people electrocute themselves when using appliances designed for indoor use on the exterior of a home where they and or the appliance get wet.

Keep appliances away from the bathtub and shower area.  If an appliance falls in the water STOP unplug the appliance and then take it out of the water.  If you reach into the water to retrieve a plugged in appliance it may be the last thing you do!

Respect electricity! Electricians are expensive and they are worth every penny.  Something like one electrician dies a week getting electrocuted.  If one experienced person dies a week doing what they do for a living what do you think your odds are?  Do you want to bet your life to find out?
