direct vent chimney
Direct vent chimneys: newer
technologies in venting gas fireplaces (and some pellet stoves) bring in
outside combustion air and exhaust the fireplace through one coaxial
vent. This venting configuration allows you to place specially designed
fireplaces in virtually any room in the building. Since these fireplaces
burn gas there are few maintenance concerns. The manufacturer's
recommendations should be closely followed.
