CEILING HEAT LAMP home inspectors
CEILING
HEAT LAMP: Infrared ceiling heat lamps are
great for a little extra warmth while bathing or
showering. They are almost always recessed
lights which use high wattage bulbs. It is
recommended that the heat lamp be switched on
and off with a spring-wound timer to prevent
prolonged operation when no one is present. Be
sure the heat lamp is not directed at anything
combustible such as the top of a door, etc. as
they generate considerable heat.
