Furnace boiler radiator convector ac inoperative
Furnace boiler radiator convector ac inoperative Often, air conditioning systems and heating systems will not immediately come on. For various reasons, some will not cycle until several minutes have passed. The inspector will set the thermostat at maximum settings that would normally turn the unit on, whether heating or cooling, and will wait at least 10 minutes. If the unit still does not come on (heat up or cool down) the inspector will enter this item. The unit may come on afterwards when checked by others. If this is the case please refer to the owner of the property to ascertain whether this delay is common for the unit. If not, service may be called for. Often the inspector will note a condition that clearly indicates the unit will not operate. Parts may be missing, the thermostat may be faulty, the unit may be undergoing repairs, etc. In these situations the need for service is obvious.
