Experienced New Jersey home inspectors know what to look for and know how home owners have tried to trick them in the past. That knowledge can save you substantial money short term (during price negotiations) and long term (less problems after you buy the home).

Given today's economic climate who can take a chance major problems with the home will show up shortly after purchase?

Homes in New Jersey are still very expensive by historical standards. Do not take chances when hiring a New Jersey home inspector, hire the best one you can afford in order to avoid unpleasant surprises.

New Jersey homes frequently have damage from termites, carpenter ants and other insects as well as wood rot. Wood rot is an indication of high moisture. High moisture and or water attract other insects to the home where they may cause damages. If one lived in a home for 80 years and just kept the water out of the home and fixed what broke few things would. If one lives in a home for six months and ignore plumbing or roof leaks major damages should be expected to occur.

Honest home inspectors will not be afraid to tell you there are stains on the underside of the roofing that can be indications of active leakage and will not be swayed when told not to worry the leaks are old. Also as the home ages water infiltration will become more of an issue as latent damages are more likely to exist. As honest home inspectors we will not fall into the trap of writing down the leaks were dry on a dry day so no problem exists. All we can tell you is the very next time it rains the spot that was not wet may become wet.

Areas We Serve
Currently, we provide NJ home inspections, radon testing, well water testing and PWTA tests in Bergen, Essex, Passaic and Morris County in New Jersey.  For service outside Northern NJ we provide referrals to other firms who share a similar philosophy. We accept cash, check, money orders and advance payment by credit card or by PayPal.  When it is time to hire a NJ Home Inspector, you want us on your side.

Money
Let's put things in perspective: If you're buying a $350,000 home and the inspection fee is $600, that's .172% of the cost of the home!  The cost of a New Jersey home inspection is a bargain! If the inspection turns up little wrong with the home (few do), you've bought some relatively inexpensive peace of mind.   If the inspection finds serious problems (most do), then the few hundred dollars you invest in our home inspection could end up saving you many thousands of dollars.

Please look around our site, and we look forward to hearing from you.  If you have any questions we can be reached at (973) 812-5100, between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm seven days a week.  Have your home inspected by the inspector who provides home inspector education & NJ  home inspection training to others.
