CAULK TUB / SHOWER PAN TO FLOORING: This item is
checked because of the importance of preventing
water from entering under the flooring around
the tub or shower. Wood subfloors can be damaged
as well as ceilings and walls below. The
flooring itself can be damaged also. If the
flooring is lifted more than 1/ 8 inch above the
subfloor next to the tub or shower, it should be
glued back down with contact cement, or other
suitable adhesives, before caulking.
