VANITY / WALL CABINETS NOT SECURE / DAMAGED / AMISS
VANITY
/ WALL CABINETS NOT SECURE / DAMAGED / AMISS:
The concern here is that the loose sink base
cabinet may move and cause damage to the drain
or water supply line thereby causing leaks and
other damages. Loose wall cabinets are in danger
of falling. Damaged cabinets are usually
cosmetic and are mentioned for information only.
Loose cabinets ordinarily can be secured with
nails or screws. When using either be careful
that you not puncture a water line. Do not drive
nails or screws in a straight line above, below,
or to the right or left of a water supply valve
or drain. It is recommended that you install the
nail or screw on a diagonal line to the pipe or
valve. If you feel you need assistance you may
wish to call on the services of a General
Contractor or a Handyman Service.
