BACK
FLUSH WATER CLOSET: These units are much
like wall hung units except they are fastened to
the floor as well as the wall. These are
excellent units for remodeling when it is not
easy to go through the floor, such as when
installing one on an existing concrete floor.
These units flush back through the wall. Some of
them have smaller outlets than down flush water
closets and may be slower flushing. The tank
design is the same as a down flush system. When
tightening the bolts which mount the unit to the
wall flange and to the floor, be sure to tighten
the wall bolts first so the unit will
"slide" back tight against the wax
seal. Tighten mounting bolts on all water
closets very carefully or the base may crack.
