SAUNA: This is a type of Finnish bath with exposure to hot dry air. Saunas are found in many homes today. The sauna chamber has a heating system which gives off very hot dry air. Use caution in a sauna with flammables. Often people will read newspapers in saunas and unknow- ingly expose themselves to severe burns should the paper catch fire. Be sure the sauna door can be opened by applying a minimal amount of pressure against the door from the inside. The door should not be latchable or lockable. Saunas should be operated with spring-wound timers so the heat will automatically be turned off after a set amount of time has passed. Should problems occur with your sauna you may need the services of a Plumbing Contractor and/or Electrician.
