HYDRO-JET" OR "JACUZZI" STYLE TUB : These are tubs which have jets which eject water into the tub through a recirculating pump. The pump must be accessible and protected from water. An access opening should be provided to review and/or repair the pump and motor. Steamers are electrically operated devices which must be kept dry. An access panel must be provided which will allow servicing of the steamer. Steam devices are usually operated with a spring-wound timer which shuts the steam off at the end of a preset amount of time. Should these devices give trouble you will probably need the services of a Plumbing Contractor who specializes in their installation.
