MASONRY FENCE CAP(S) LOOSE / MISSING / AMISS:
Most block fences have cap blocks installed atop the top row of blocks
Sometimes there will be no cap blocks installed and the top of the fence
is the top blocks. S. Secured only with cement these caps and/or blocks
often loosen and fall from the fence. Since they are often high up on
the fence this could pose a hazard to someone standing nearby The caps
can be secured with cement and adhesives mixed with sand and lime.
Purchase new caps from a Concrete Block Company if needed. If necessary
contact a Masonry Contractor for assistance.
