FENCE SLAT(S) / COVERING / RUNNER(S) LOOSE / MISSING / DAMAGED:
This item is marked as a reminder to you that some fence maintenance is
needed. Fences around swimming pools should be repaired imme diately
while others may be repaired whenever possible Loose slats should be
nailed securely with 6d or 8d galvanized nails Loose runners (a runner
is the board which supports the slats) can be secured easily but will
often split when larger nails are used. Try drilling pilot holes for the
nails if splitting occurs The fence covering may include stucco,
chain-link, wood slats, plywood panels, fiberglass or metal panels, etc.
Loose panel coverings should be secured immediately to prevent injury to
someone should the panel dislodge in high winds. Fence Runner
Fence Covering Fence Post If the fence is stucco and frame and is
cracked it should be treated as any other stucco wall which is cracked.
