Concrete installed against wood siding
CONCRETE / MASONRY INSTALLED AGAINST WOOD PRODUCT SIDING:
Generally when placing concrete slabs against a wood product siding a
thin sheet of corrosion resistant metal is placed between. This acts as
a barrier to help keep moisture laden cement concrete products from
ultimately causing the wood to rot. Most wood rot can be attributed to
moisture and lack of air and both conditions exist here This situation
should be considered an increased maintenance condition which should be
monitored . There are products which treat wood making it more resistant
to wood rot. The application of such a wood preservative may be helpful
You are advised to contact a Pest Control Company for further
information and a second opinion regarding this condition. Remedial
action may be called for.

Finding an experienced NJ Real Estate Attorney should be a priority for any home buyer. Many ask real estate agents for referrals however one must keep in mind unethical real estate agents have been known to send clients to those who get deals done rather than those who carefully go over every detail. I do not know about you but when I buy I house I want the best NJ Real Estate Attorney I can afford representing me and my interests every step of the way. When I buy a home I am more concerned about how well my attorney represents my interests than if the deal closes on time or if issues come up that take effort to cure.
