Asphault seal coat asphault maintenance
ASPHALT SEAL-COAT / GENERAL MAINTENANCE NEEDED: Asphalt concrete, or
"blacktop," cracks easily, and in time, if not kept sealed
properly, will "dry out" and disintegrate Cracks in asphalt
are caused by many things, but primarily, natural ground settling,
vehicular use, expansion and contraction during tem perature changes,
and water action under the surface causes most cracks. Because of this
continual shifting there is no permanent way to repair cracks in
asphalt. Although they may recur, repair is still necessary to prevent
the more serious damage (disintegration) which may result Blacktop
drives, walks or patios which are cracked are relatively easy to repair.
Today there are simple, ready to use products available for restoring
asphalt surfaces. They enable the do it yourself type person to achieve
professional looking results in repairs of asphalt driveways or other
asphalt surfaces. With these products you can renew the finish and
provide an attractive more durable surface at the same time, making
cleaning and maintenance easier also For minor depressions and cracks up
to 2" wide, use an asphalt crack filler. Larger cracks, and/or
holes, will require some actual asphalt paving material. As a final
coating, use a blacktop coating to restore color or to smooth and fill
rough texture. This coating will also rid the driveway of the
"dried out" look It may be necessary to contact an Asphalt
Product Company but the necessary materials are usually available at
Home Improvement Stores and Building Supply Centers If you desire to
work on the drive yourself, feel free to contact this company for
additional information After obtaining the necessary supplies and a
stiff broom with a squeegee on one side, scrape off excess grease and
oil. Wash with detergent. Remove all weeds from cracks, then sweep away
any dust, dirt, or debris. Scrub stains with ammonia then rinse with
water. After the surface is completely dry pour a ribbon of material
beginning at one end and pour sealer directly from the can across the
driveway's width in a small ribbon Push the sealer into tight spots
(such as against the garage door) with the brush end of your applicator
to help prevent splatter The final spreading of the material is
accomplished with the squeegee side of the broom pulling back and forth
across the width of your driveway, as far as the ribbon of material will
go, for a smooth surface Repeat with another ribbon of material and
continue this procedure until the entire driveway or patio is completed.

Finding an experienced NJ Real Estate Attorney should be a priority for any home buyer. Many ask real estate agents for referrals however one must keep in mind unethical real estate agents have been known to send clients to those who get deals done rather than those who carefully go over every detail. I do not know about you but when I buy I house I want the best NJ Real Estate Attorney I can afford representing me and my interests every step of the way. When I buy a home I am more concerned about how well my attorney represents my interests than if the deal closes on time or if issues come up that take effort to cure.
