POP-UP / CONVENTIONAL HEADS:
Conventional and "pop-up" sprinkler heads are more commonly
used than any others. Very little care and maintenance is needed after
initially adjusting and cleaning the system--usually once per season.
Pop-up heads which remain "up" after the water is off are
prone to being broken off. If the head does not respond to cleaning it
should be replaced Conventional heads are prone to becoming stopped up
with sand and debris and will need cleaning occasionally. Conventional
heads also are prone to becoming hidden below the turf and will need to
be exposed from time to time Parts for all types of systems are
available at Gardening and Building Supply Outlets The inspector notes
this type head is installed. Be aware that review of the performance of
each head is not part of the Visual Inspection Service
